In the election of the chair of the Pharmacy College 2024, candidates who have impressive academic records and valuable experience serving in the pharmaceutical sector participated in the Pharmacy College election. Controversy Surrounds Indonesian Collegium Elections Amid ID Card Misuse Concerns

The eligible voters were from the relevant profession in the particular collegium such as pharmacists in the College of Pharmacy. Some reports claimed that some new accounts were created on SDMK by using the personal data of other people who were even not health workers with or without their knowledge. The use of ID Card data without the owner’s consent for unauthorized purposes such as voting in the collegium, can cause losses to the right candidate and violations of privacy. Therefore, it is suggested that kindly ensure the ID card is not shared with others.

Speaking about the winner of the College of Pharmacy election, Prof. Dr. Apt. Keri Lestari, M.Sc., has emerged as the winner with the most votes. Although she was given stiff competition by two other candidates, Apt. Drs. Budi Raharjo, and Prof. Apt. Muchtaridi received a total of 3126 votes and 2613 votes respectively. However, the College of Pharmacy election-winning candidate got a total of 4626 votes. Her victory is a testament to her contribution to handling the COVID-19 pandemic, leadership in professional organizations, and specialist pharmacist education. Now, she has become the Chairperson of the Indonesian Pharmacy College. Her victory is for the direction of better Indonesian healthcare.
